Couple and Family Therapy

The Master of Couple and Family Therapy (MCFT) has been offered by UNSW Social Work since 1994 in partnership with the Australian Institute of Relationship Studies (AIRS – the training division of Relationships Australia NSW). It is an interdisciplinary clinical training program designed for social workers, psychologists and other counselling professionals. The program is part-time across two years. It is offered every two years only with the next intake for 2012. The program is not available for International Students, and it is not available by distance education.

For the first year, students enrol in the Masters Articulation Program at AIRS and complete 3 courses. In the second year, students apply to and then enrol at UNSW, receive course credits for their first year courses, and complete the remaining 3 courses.
