Social Science
The School of Social Sciences and International Studies offers students the opportunity to attain a Master of Social Science by Research. The Master of Social Science by Research degree program requires the completion of three courses and a research thesis or project. The degree is completed in either three or four semesters (full-time). It is designed for students wishing to engage in serious research but who are not able to devote the three years required to complete a PhD. Alternatively they have a research project which does not lend itself to that level of extended treatment.
