A NORMAL WORK DAY

7.am. Got up. Had breakfast.
Got.up. Breakfast. Thought out greenhouse plan. Fed chooks. Did some vegetable gardening.
8.am. Travelled to work
Worked in home workshop fixing chair. Helped Mary repair bike. Walked to library. Stopped to watch ducks and help Dot pick berries.
9.am. Served customers.
On roster at library.
10 am Served customers.
Took home some bamboo stakes from the commons.Helped Fred clean out fish tank. Pruned some roadside fruit trees.
11 a.m. Morning tea in store room.
Morning tea in the fern house. Worked out new seeds to order. Moved the goat.
12 am. Served customers.
Helped pack nuts in the food co-op. Discussed local watercatchment plan; we all vote next Saturday.
12 noon. Served customers.
On community working bee; we painted the windmill.
1.pm. Lunch.
Sat with Don and Ben by the stream. Walked home for lunch. Picked salad from garden. Thought out orchard jobs. Discussed the casting for the new play.
2.pm Served customers.
Did paid work in local engineering firm.
3. pm Served customers.

4 pm. Afternoon tea.
Had a cup of tea in Arthur's pottery. Mixed some clay.
5 pm. Travelled home.
Bottled plums with Pete and Jan. Took surplus to neighbourhood Workshop. Brought home some surplus carrots Annabel had left there. Browsed through thatching book; we do the goat house roof tomorrow. Chopped some wood. Helped Mike shift the bees
6pm Watched TV.
Looked afterJane's kids. Helped Alice read a story. Showed Tim howto divide. Repotted chestnut seedlings. Watered the garden. Fed the animals, collected eggs. Planned energy committee agenda with Ann and Tony.
7 pm Dinner time.
Discussed this nights cultural committee meeting over dinner. Also discussed the best tree varieties to plant at the dam.
8.pm Watched TV.
Energy committee meeting at the neighbourhood workshop. Played table tennis there. On way home dropped in fora chat with old Bill. Sewed slippers by the fire. Discussed jobs for tomorrow.
