The School of Social Sciences and International Studies provides prospective students with a diverse range of topics to pursue in the course of their degree. Drawing on its strengths of International Studies, Politics and International Relations, Social Science and Policy, Social Work, and Sociology and Anthropology, the School cathers to every field of social science.

If you are drawn to the dynamics of global and regional change, developments in international relations and international economics, and the implications of globalisation, International Studies would provide you with an opportunity to pursue such topics of study.

If the politics of different countries and regions, and the ways in which they impact upon relations between various nations, piques your interest, Politics and International Relations will allow you to more closely examine such issues.

If you are attracted to careers that deal with organisations, communities, politcs, the economy, and their interaction on human relations, then you are interested in the field of social science and policy.
